For sunsuits, height is suggested as the determining factor. If between sizes, we suggest sizing up. Fit may be roomy, but the sleeves and pant legs can be rolled up.

This was the perfect swimsuit for my 4.5 month old at the beach. I absolutely loved the zipper going all the way down the suit - it made it so much easier for changing diapers and getting the suit on and off. I was really impressed with the quality and felt much more comfortable knowing he was protected from the sun.
We absolutely loved this for the beach. I want worried about him getting burnt since it covers him and it was so comfortable and easy to put on dry and wet! It’s true to size he’s a big 16 month old at 34lbs and we ordered 2T. We will definitely be ordering more.
Seriously, this little swimsuit is the best. Easy-peasy to put on my 2.5 year old, and so nice to not have to worry about slathering sunscreen on so much of his body. I wish they had an adult-sized replica of this -- I'd buy it!
