For sunsuits, height is suggested as the determining factor. If between sizes, we suggest sizing up. Fit may be roomy, but the sleeves and pant legs can be rolled up.

Our little guy loved swimming in his new swimzip wear!!! Very easy to get on & off plus I didn’t need to worry with sunscreen. He’s 9 months old and the 8-12 month old size will fit him the entire summer. Thank you for making his first swim lesson experience so nice too😊
This is our second purchase, we loved the shark pattern we bought in the 12 month size to use this past summer - was great in the pool, color held up in the chlorine and he looked absolutely adorable. Easy to get on and off, and made it easy to hold on to our little guy in the water. We just bought the bigger size he'll need next year so we'll be ready for a beach trip in 2025. I not only love the product, I feel good about supporting this small business.
We are so glad we found this product! Our little guy is 4.5 months old and I bought a 6 to 12 month in this design and a larger size for next year. I had read to size up and maybe roll it if needed and I couldn't justify buying a 3 to 6 month size that he would soon outgrow. So that said, it's a bit big but not bad! It was totally doable and so cute on him. I love the full limb coverage and even feet coverage since we bought it larger! Such cute designs too!
I have two baby swim suits. A swim zip, and one that is similar. The swim zip is HANDS DOWN my favorite. Better quality material, AND the suit zips all the way off. The other one is such a pain to take off my little guy for diaper changes. Pulling a wet suit off is never easy…unless it’s a swim zip!
Just bought my 2nd and 3rd swim zip suit for my 12 mo. old. Purchased one last summer as well. I love these suits because they offer good sun protection and look cute with their clean and crisp styles. My baby is happy to wear it. Sizing seems accurate, I buy a size up for my big and long baby, so I got the 18 mo size and it fits well.
