Care Instructions
- Wash separately before wearing and rinse in cold clean water after each use.
- Hand-wash in cold water: Neon items should be washed separately in cold water to prevent the colors from fading and bleeding. Hot water (including hot tubs/spas) can cause the dye to bleed and fade quickly.
- Use mild detergent: Use a mild detergent that is free of bleach or fabric softeners. Harsh chemicals can damage the fabric and cause the color to fade.
- Avoid drying in direct sunlight: Avoid drying or storing your neon swimwear in direct sunlight as it can cause the color to fade quickly. Lay flat to dry in a shaded area or indoors.

I love this rash guard for two reasons: first, all hail the full zip so there's no wrestling a wet, skin-stuck sun shirt over your complaining child's head, and second, the neon orange color - which skews sliiightly coral in a way I really love - is PERFECT for strong visibility underwater. We immediately took these on a trip to a lake where my kids swam in both the lake and the pool. Compared with a friend's child wearing a white sun shirt, my kids were much more visible paddling around. Lake visibility is harder because the water is murky, but again, I could see the bottoms of their shirts farther down in the water than my friend's child's suit or my own blue one. I felt like they were safer thanks to this color.
Wonderful product. It’s soft and lightweight and goes on and off so easily. Size 3T for my son who turned three a couple months ago. He’s fairly average in size and the rash guard fits well with room to grow without being baggy. The neon orange definitely has a slightly salmon hue to it, which doesn’t match the neon orange of his hat I bought in the past , but that doesn’t bother me.
I’d ordered the wrong color at first and customer service was great in helping me cancel my order and not have to deal with returns.
My almost 2 year old LOVES to be outside. But absolutely hates cold sun screen spray or being rubbed down. This is the perfect solution, and the zipper is great for not pulling over his head. The bright colors are wonderful for quickly visualizing your kiddos at the pool or beach. We started with this color this year and just added two more!
I was very disappointed to find the neon of this shirt faded in the first couple months. My first priority in this purchase was the neon orange for high visibility. I’ve bought swimzip hats in the past with no fading issue, so this was surprising and very disappointing. We did accidentally put it in the dryer a time or two, but fading began before that and has worsened since we stopped, and the inside remains more neon, leading me to believe it has more to do with bleaching in the sun than the accidental dryer. I have a shirt from another brand that has gone through both my boys with zero fading, so I know it’s not from how we treat the clothes.
otherwise the quality is great, so if fading isn’t a problem for you, it’s still a good purchase. But I won’t be buying more of their neon tops, since the neon doesn’t keep.
The first 2 to 3 wares were great and I absolutely love the bright color. But after those first few times, the color has faded and now I don’t even use the rashguard anymore because it’s so faded. They do give special washing instructions, but even with the extra precautions, mine faded considerably. I was disappointed.
