Zipper works well and seems like it will last to be handed down to multiple babies! This picture shows the 6-12 month size on my tall (90th percentile) 8 month old. Fit is consistent with other baby clothes. I'll be buying the next size up as he grows!

I ordered this bikini to match my son during an upcoming vacation. I am so picky about bathing suit bottoms and I LOVE these. I ordered a size small (my usual size) and I would say it's true to size. For reference I am 120 lbs, 5 ft 4 in, and normally wear a 25 or 26 in pants. Great modest coverage, but still cute and young. The ruched front is also very flattering.
